Forever 21 finally to arrive in the UK!

It's official! It has been confirmed that Forever 21, the LA based fashion store, will be opening its first UK store in the heart of England - Birmingham! The 53,000 sq foot store will be in the Bull Ring shopping centre, one of Europe's largest shopping centres.

It is believed that Westfield Stratford city will be the location of the second store though this has not yet been confirmed.

If you live too far from any of these, don't worry as executive vice president, Larry Meyer, has stated that they are hoping to expand all over the UK. Fingers crossed for online ordering too!

Are you looking forward to Forever 21 coming to the UK?

Cute shoes

These shoes are so CUTE!

"Buy me" "No, buy me! I'm a purrrrfect pair"

Personally I wouldn't wear them as they're not my style but they're fun to just look at. Get them while you can from Topshop.

Why won't shoes love me back?

What's it with shoes? They seduce me with their beauty, I pay good money for them and a little while after I put them on, they torture my feet.

One of their favourite moves is to rub onto the backs of my ankles and give me blisters then they rub onto the blisters to make things even worse. They also make sure that the front of the shoes can accommodate only four of my toes so I'd have to squeeze all five toes in. The pain!

Great looking shoes aren't enough when you look like you're in a lot of pain and want to cry.

If England was always sunny and warm then I can happily wear flipflops and sandals everyday (though they both like to give me blisters too somehow). I guess I'm doomed to a life of Clarks and Hush Puppies.

So shoes... please answer me this: what did I ever do to you? I adopted you and gave you a home and this is how you repay me?

Does anyone else have this problem or are shoes only out to get me?

As part of their Fashion Against AIDS campaign, H&M will be selling introducing a festival line this month including sleeping bags, tents and headphones as well as boho/indie style clothes for men and women! 25% of sales will be donated to various youth HIV/AIDS projects.

This line will be launched in 200 H&M stores around the world on 20th May.

Anyone going to a festival this summer?

Are you looking forward to this new range?

My bank holiday weekend

Naturally, I spent it shopping.

Since I hardly have any summer clothes, I had a good excuse to buy some more so I headed down to town to buy some tops, new jeans and some summery shoes.

If anyone went shopping on Saturday, then you may already now how crazy it was at the shops. It was extremely busy and hot! I couldn't even breathe properly and was so close to either crying or fainting.

First stop was Zara. The reason why it was my first stop is simply because it is one of my favourite stores everrr! Surprisingly, I couldn't find anything nice except for some skinny jeans. These fit really well and are long enough to fold at the bottom.

Dorothy Perkins have 20% off for students at the moment so I saved £8 on these babies. They're available in coral too but I decided that they won't go with a lot of my clothes. I can always paint my nails in coral.
Normally, heels hurt my feet so much but these are roomy enough at the front to fit all five of my tootsies and the heels are chunky so I don't need to worry about them breaking as I walk. And just look at the adorable box they come in!

Update!!! Since I wrote about how awesome these shoes are, I wore them out shopping and LOOK!!

My poor babies! :'(

This is not what I expect from £40 shoes at all and will be taking them back to Dorothy Perkins for a refund!

At TK Maxx, I found a great deal on a set of Jennifer Lopez's Love at First Glow perfume (50ml) and shower gel set for only £11! They come in a clear case that can be used as a make up bag. I bought the perfume when it first came out for £25 and loved its sweet floral smell. What I love most about it is that it reminds me of the summer of 2006 when I got see my boyfriend again so the smell reminds me of being with him. Since he lives back in Libya I can only see him in the holidays :(

I hope you all had a great bank holiday weekend? What did you get up to? Any fashion finds?

Is there such thing as too many H&Ms?

I love H&M. I love their clothes, I love their accessories and I love their prices. I love that it's not far from my house too. But not only do I have one close to my house, I have four and according to Style Birmingham, there is a fifth on the way. FIVE H&Ms! Why do we need five H&Ms??? Don't you have enough stores? Stop hogging all the space, H&M!!! Why don't you just open one next door too while you're at it! (Actually, please do. I would like that very much).

If H&M and Tesco had a baby, it would look like this.

How many H&Ms are there where you live? What do you think about them opening so many stores in one area? Is it a good or bad thing?

Let me know what you think :)

Go away, Grunge!

Now that the sun is out, shouldn't we be celebrating by dressing up in all the colours of the rainbow? Yet the grunge look doesn't seem to want to go away. I was happy to see all the florals and lace on the high street but I was disappointed that so many girls are mixing them up with leather and oversized shirts.

I made these all by myself for the Asos and Caramel Bunny competition. I didn't win :(
I think mine are waaaay better than the one that won.

If that's your look then that's fine. I think everyone should wear what they're comfortable in. But personally, it's definitely not something I enjoy seeing never mind wearing.

What are you wearing this Spring?

The Perfect Jeans?

Do you ever feel that jeans are either too big or too small for you. I've compiled quite a collection of jeans over the years and wasted a lot of money, simply because they were too uncomfortable. They were either too small causing the muffin top effect or they were too big meaning I have to pull them up all the time. And, as you may already know, when you are uncomfortable in what you are wearing, it shows.

Thankfully, today my prayers were answered.

Mango have a line of jeans to fit the in-betweeny sizes eg 9, 11, 13, etc, so you never have to choose between a big size and a small size anymore. You can wear the right size for you and look great. And they're only £22.90!

This picture does the jeans no justice.
They look way better with some pretty heels.

At my local store, I found them in navy blue and black. I could only find them in a slim fit when what I really wanted to buy were some skinnies. But an advantage to this is that the calves are wider than skinnies and balance out the bottom half of my body.

So if you are looking for the perfect fit, pop into a Mango store and try on a pair.

Thanks Mango! <3

River Island Sale!!!

Hi!

Just to let you know, River Island have a sale online right now. I found some pretty yet smart summery dresses that remind me of the elegantly dressed ladies from the fifties and sixties. Think Mad Men.

These dresses can be worn with nude heels (just like mine!) so there's no need to find matching shoes.

This dress perfect for work by wearing it with a jacket.
It can also be worn for occasions. Just put on some glamorous jewellery. I recommend simple and gold.

One of my secrets to getting a good bargain is to buy ahead. Classics and basics never go out of style so buy today and wear in the autumn.

I really like this dress. If you're not very fond of your belly (like me!) then the neck takes the focus away from that area.

These dresses remind me so much of the sixties - one of my favourite eras. So they go really well with dramatic eyes and a nude lip.

This dress is quite sixties too.  Team with these over the knee boots....

I have these! =D

Sizes are limited so if you can't find the size you need, try and be a little patient and wait until next Tuesday (30th March), which is when the sale starts instore.

Have fun and let me know what you find!

xoxo
